Who We Are

We are a parent run booster club for the Amherst Comet
​Football team.

A peek into the many things we do for our team.

Food & Decorations for banquet

The Amherst Quarterback Club was established as a parent organization to promote and support the Amherst Comet Football Program.  The Quarterback Club has provided our young men with a variety of materials they need to be the best athletes they can be.  We have provided equipment, team dinners, professional strength and conditioning sessions, spirit signs, and memorabilia to commemorate their playing years.  The club is made up of parents and is run by an elected board.  ALL parents are welcome to attend our meetings, your input is vital to our continued success.

In addition to the monetary values that we provide to the program, we also give our time.  Volunteers have been an integral part of supporting our athletes whether it is inflating the helmet at home games, setting up and taking down of yard signs each week, or helping to serve our team dinners.  We are always ready to accept new help from parents who have a son in any grade 7-12.

We provide needed materials to not just our varsity program, but we help all of the younger programs with their needs as well.  In the past we have helped to purchase equipment, clothing, and many other things needed by our junior comets.

Parent volunteers are central to our efforts and we love to see new parents help the program.  We rely solely on the support of our parents and community members to provide our young men with the support they need.
